It is generally accepted that the contemporary capitalism is entered into the
new stage. The Political Economics must present a growth theory and its
strategy on the new level considering the new change, while maintaining the
old issues. This paper tries to come up with the solidarity growth model at the
knowledge-based era, joining the Evolutionary Economics on ‘innovation’ and
‘institution’ with the Post-Keynesian Economics about ‘income distribution’.
This model includes theoretical and empirical contents two schools have
accumulated. Firstly, the economic growth is encouraged by innovation and
institution, namely the National Innovation System rather than the ‘three
production factors’ of the Neo-classical Economics. Secondly, the institutional
constellation of innovation systems and the growth models vary nationally.
Thirdly, the way of combining the growth and the distribution is nationally
diverse. The potential solidarity growth depends on nation-specific, “fine
tuning competencies” The model presented in this paper is greatly modified
from the model of Amable(1993) and improved in my own way. -
